Digital Flourescein Angiography

Digital flourescein angiography is used to study the circulation of blood through fine capillaries of retina to detect any leakage which is usually found in diabetic retinopathy or any block in blood flow as occurs in Central Retinal Vein Thrombosis or Central Retinal Artry occlusion. Areas of poor circulations of blood (Retinal Ischaemia) which occur in a wide variety of retinal diseases can be carefully studied with this technique.
